Covid-19 Operation Plan
MacArthur’s Nurseries Inc. values the health, well-being and safety of its employees and customers. As such, MacArthur’s began introducing many of the following safety procedures prior to New Brunswick declaring a state of emergency. Please familiarize yourself with the following restrictions, before coming to MacArthur’s Nurseries. These restrictions will be enforced. Thank you for your cooperation.
Limiting Customers in Store
We are currently limiting the number of customers in-store to 75 at a time. This number is subject to change.
Wash your Hands
We have hand sanitizer available at our entrance/exit and cash areas.
Pay with credit/debit card
Limiting the use of cash, reduces the amount of contact you need to have with others.
Directional Shopping – Arrows
All of our aisles are now one-way. Please follow the arrows.
Staff and Customer Regulations
Please familiarize yourself with the following advice from Public Health.
Community masks MUST be worn by anyone in our store including in our parking lot, tree lot, and perennial section. This includes all staff, customers, and visitors. If you don’t have a mask, you will be offered one. If you refuse to wear a mask ,you will be asked to leave.
Keep your Distance
Always maintain a physical separation of at least 6 feet or 2 metres from others.
Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes and mouth. Make use of hand sanitizer and/or hand washing as often as possible.
Facility and Employee Safety Procedures
The province has provided guidance documents to businesses to follow upon re-opening.
All staff will be screened for illness and travel, as per government requirements.
Remain home when sick. If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19 you should self-isolate at home and call 811 for advice. All staff have access to paid sick leave.
Cough or sneeze into your arm or tissue, and wash hands with soap and water for at least 20
seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (minimum 60% alcohol content) after coughing
Clean and disinfect tools between uses.
